天舟一號

China has taken another step toward its goal of putting a space station into orbit around 2022, by sending its first cargo spacecraft Tianzhou-1 into space on Thursday evening.

我國首個貨運飛船天舟一號于20日晚發射升空,我們朝著2022年前后建立軌道空間站的目標又邁進了一步.

Atop a Long March-7 Y2 carrier rocket, Tianzhou-1 rose into the air from the Wenchang Space Launch Center in south China's Hainan Province at 7:41 p.m.

4月20日19時41分,搭載著天舟一號貨運飛船的長征七號遙二運載火箭,在我國文昌航天發射場點火發射.

天舟一號(Tianzhou-1)是我國自主研制的首艘貨運飛船(the first cargo spacecraft developed by China),也是中國目前為止體積最大、重量最重的航天器(the largest and heaviest spacecraft).由于它只運貨,不送人,所以被形象地稱為太空"快遞小哥"(space courier/delivery man).

天舟一號采用兩艙式結構,直徑較小的是推進艙(propelling module),直徑較大的為貨物艙(cargo module).飛船全長10.6米,最大直徑3.35米,起飛質量(takeoff weight)約13噸,太陽帆板展開后最大寬度14.9米,物資運輸能力(payload capacity)約6.5噸,推進劑補加能力約為2噸.

Tianzhou-1's 6.5-ton payload capacity also makes it the world's most capable cargo spacecraft in service: Japan's H-II Transfer Vehicle has 6 tons of payload capacity; the Cygnus and Dragon, both US-made craft, have 3.5 tons and 3.3 tons respectively; and Russia's Progress-MS has 2.2 tons.

天舟一號6.5噸的物資運輸能力使其成為世界上運輸能力最強的現役貨運飛船:日本的H-II貨運飛船運輸能力為6噸;美國的"天鵝座"和"龍"飛船的運輸能力分別為3.5噸和3.3噸;俄羅斯的進步-MS飛船為2.2噸.

天舟一號在太空要執行哪些任務?

飛船入軌后,將按預定程序與在軌運行的天宮二號先后進行自動交會對接(autonomous docking)、自主快速交會對接(autonomous fast docking)等3次交會對接,3次推進劑在軌補加(propellant in-orbit refueling)以及空間應用和航天技術等領域的多項實(試)驗.

首次對接:兩天后,天舟一號與天宮二號進行首次交會對接.之后,天舟一號與天宮二號組合體將進行為期兩個月的在軌飛行.期間,計劃完成3次推進劑在軌補加試驗(experiments on propellant in-orbit refueling),同時測試貨運飛船對組合體的控制能力(test the controlling ability of the cargo spacecraft over the two spacecraft).

二次對接:完成首次對接后,天舟一號與天宮二號分離,然后繞飛到天宮二號的另一側,進行第二次對接.第二次對接的主要任務是進行繞飛實驗(fly-around tests),檢驗天舟一號前向對接能力(capability of forward docking).之后天舟一號與天宮二號再次分離,兩個飛行器將獨立飛行三個月,完成搭載的空間科學試驗(space scientific experiments).

三次對接:天舟一號與天宮二號進行最后一次對接,驗證自主快速交會對接(autonomous fast docking)技術,要求在六小時左右實現對接.完成所有既定任務后,天舟一號將受控離軌,隕落至空間安全海域(fall into a designated sea area).

此次任務是中國載人航天工程空間實驗室階段(space laboratory stage of China manned space engineering)的收官之戰,對于空間站工程后續任務順利實施具有極為重要的意義,將標志著中國載人航天工程勝利完成"三步走"戰略中的"第二步"任務,為空間站建設任務奠定堅實技術基礎.

1992年9月,中國實施載人航天工程并確定中國載人航天"三步走"的發展戰略(three-step manned space program):

第一步,發射載人飛船(manned spaceship),建成初步配套的試驗性載人飛船工程,開展空間應用實驗.2013年神舟5號載人飛船任務順利完成.

第二步,突破航天員出艙活動技術(extra-vehicular activity)、空間飛行器的交會對接技術(rendezvous and docking),發射空間實驗室(space lab),解決有一定規模的、短期有人照料的空間應用問題.

第三步,建造空間站,解決有較大規模的、長期有人照料的空間應用問題(operate a permanent manned space station).
